These tights are 70% cotton, 28% nylon and 2% elastic.

Trasparenze. You might not remember the name, but we bet you will remember how they look - stunning. And by that we mean that you'll be stunned at their provocative designs and how they make you look and feel.

Trasparenze Fantasy Tights

New Trasparenze - Leggings Too!

It came to my attention that when I talked about the spring / summer line of Trasparenze last week, I didn't mention leggings. Today I'll correct that oversight.

To the right is an example of the Paige legging from the Trasparenze spring / summer line. Leggings are a hot trend right now as they can add informal adornment to any leg and, only extending to mid-calf, they are perfect paired with flats, heels or sandals for your day in the sun.

The Paige has a fishnet leg and the appearance of embroidery on the band at the calf. These are available in ivory (known as silk) and navy blue (known as oltremare).

New Trasparenze - Fashion Legwear

Many of us don't think farther than black or nude for our hosiery, but with Trasparenze the possibilities get considerably more exciting.

Seen right is the Kelli by Trasparenze. The Kelli is 20 denier* and comes in either tights or knee-highs.

The Kelli gives you the look of a white knee-high sock, complete with a ruffle at the band, and a gorgeous black tattoo, without having to undergo the pain and permanency of needles and ink.

Seen left is the Norah, an adorable sock available in white with navy, as shown, pink with navy, or navy with white. These socks are 40 denier*, making them a little thicker and designed to last without running.

Secret Drawers Lingerie Top 10 - part 2

Last time, we revealed numbers 10 through 6 of our 2010 top lingerie, lounge and underwear picks. Today we'll reveal our absolute top 5 lingerie items in our drawers from 2010.

Trasparenze, Voilà, Philippe Matignon - Stockings to Seduce

The term "stockings" refers to a garment that covers the foot and lower-leg, while pantyhose actually refers to the toes to waist garment that women commonly wear now. These terms are currently often used interchangeably. Pantyhose proper weren't introduced into the market until 1959 and became a fashion necessity in the 1960's with the popularity of the mini-skirt.

We've come a long way since hand-sown silk, and stockings are now a fashion piece in their own right.

Trasparenze

This is one of our most seductive offerings as it appears to be an outfit of stockings, panties and a garter belt, but it actually is a one-piece pantyhose. This is sometimes known as garter hose. It is an 80-denier material, thick enough to hide any leg or thigh blemishes.

On the left is a Trasparenze JKay stay-up. It's more sheer in a 20 denier and sports red criss-crossing ribbons with a buckle at the thigh and ankle.
