New Hanky Panky Colours

Many people wait eagerly for the next shipment of Hanky Panky and we're thrilled to say it has arrived. This summer we have a rainbow of new colours from which to choose.

In addition to all our standard colours, we now have Hanky Panky thongs in electric orchid, passionate pink, tulip pink, capri, periwinkle, true blue and nightshadow blue - see colour swatches for the new colours on the left.

Those who have been waiting for other Hanky Panky designs will also be pleased. We now have our supply of Hanky Panky underwear in bikini and retro thong cuts. Find the bikini cut brief (top right) in black and ivory and find the retro thong (bottom right) in black and chai.

Both the bikini and retro thong are in the classic Hanky Panky lace and the bikini now has an improved leg elastic.

Summer Glows with the Prima Donna Satin

Less is more beautiful with the classic design of the Satin from Prima Donna. This new arrival is smooth and luxurious in its timeless simplicity. The seamless design works perfectly under thin fabrics like the summer frocks we're revived from our wardrobe.

The Prima Donna Satin is designed with the larger bosom in mind and so is available in sizes 36 - 40, cups C - F in the colour summer glow. Summer glow looks natural and uncluttered against sun-kissed skin and is invisible under sheer fabrics.

Spring PJs by BedHead

BedHead is superior quality sleepwear and we barely have to utter its name before it goes flying off the shelves. Our last shipment was gone in two weeks.

This new BedHead design is called Savannah Mums. It is a rich coral adorned by lemon and ivory flowers with a baby-blue scalloped trim. This BedHead pajama is perfect for sleeping and lounging as it's a light cotton with a 5% lycra content meaning that it will stretch when you do.

Part of the summer collection 2012, the Marie Jo Zoe struts her stuff in stunning topaz. This trendy piece is chic, feminine and yet modern.

Many women are on the lookout for a new, sexy bra that will give their cleavage a lift and look great under their light and breezy t-shirts. The Felina Bridgette might be just what the summer ordered.

Hanky Panky Springs Ahead

Feel like celebrating the spring with flowers but don't have a green thumb? No problem, the lily pad print on this spring's Hanky Panky have you covered, even if all you can seem to cultivate in the garden are stems.

The new lily pad print by Hanky Panky is more lily than pad with the pattern accented by an extra-wide, peach, stretch-lace waistband on the thong (seen right).

This week the postman brought us a Twist, a Prima Donna Twist to be exact.

This is the Coup de Foudre, the new Prima Donna Twist design. The Coup de Foudre mixes comfortable, smooth fabric with a trendy, retro print and contemporary palette.

In the tradition of fine Prima Donna design, this look flatters the fuller-bosom so we're carrying the Coup de Foudre up to 44 E cup in blue opal. To accompany the look, we're also carrying the full brief, which covers the tummy for a slimming effect.

Pure Chantelle

On the heels of the Chantelle Hedona, the Chantelle Pure is new in-store and shares the same understated, smooth look.

The Pure is part of Chantelle's spring-summer 2011 collection and as in the Promesse design, we are carrying it in golden beige. This clean-cut bra is designed to look seamless under the t-shirts we're all unpacking for the warmer weather.

This lingerie might disappear against many a skin tone were it not for the shimmering stripes knit around both the bra and pant. And speaking of pant, we have both the brief and thong on offer.

Chantelle calls this collection:

New Mary Green - Viktoria

It's another appearance of misspelling today. Nope, it's not Victoria here on Vancouver Island but the new Viktoria chemise and thong set by Mary Green.

It'll be a fun and whimsical spring if Mary Green has anything to say about it. Sunbursts of candy pink and deep lavender play against a mikado yellow background, and just for added interest a waterfall of leopard spots dance down your center.

Mary Green calls this fabric crushed silk, which gives the comfort and flow of silk without the shiny look. The deep lavender, stretch lace on the Viktoria adds a traditional feminine touch but keeps it young with scalloped edges and a bow at the breast bone.

The matching Mary Green Viktoria thong is stretch lace, continuing the flattering scalloped edge and adding the flirty pattern of the chemise just on the back.

This sheer georgette chemise is guaranteed to make you feel young no matter what the calendar says.

Kenan - Lisa's Folly - Luxe

Canadian born Kenan makes collections like the NK iMode, frou-frou and FF-Lifestyle. Each collection's name evokes its own, unique feeling. Lisa's Folly seems to suggest Lisa's foolish, but only if foolishness is draped in silk and lace.

To the right is the Truffle/Honey, part of Kenan's Lisa's Folly - Luxe line for the summer. The Truffle/Honey is a chemise in a lavender, known by Lisa as iris bliss. Honey lace adorns the neckline and peeks through a daring slit.

To the left is another example of honey lace accents. This time on the Lisa's Folly - Luxe, blue angel babydoll set. This isn't your average babydoll - this one keeps it fun and young with a racer back.

And if colours aren't making their way into your underwear drawer, then we also have the Hayworth: a sexy slip with scalloped edges in midnight black (not shown). The Hayworth adds elegant sophistication in knee-length silk and lace.

We've found that no matter which collection we pick from Kenan, they're an amazing example of why underwear matters.

Philippe Matignon - New - Ethnique

As promised, we now reveal more beautiful Philille Matignon; another spring fling.

Above is the Ethnique top and Ethnique leggings. These are a little more sophisticated than your average summer fare.

We're carrying the Ethnique by Philippe Matignon in brown, as above, but this black, close-up on the right allows appreciation of the fabric's delicate shine and classic tone-on-tone checkerboard pattern.

The straps crisscross into a keyhole detail at the bust, where the fabric gathers. It's almost impossible to see these pieces and not picture yourself lazying in the warming sun.

Philippe Matignon in the Spring

Beautiful pieces arrived this week, by Pilippe Matignon, that have everyone thinking of the warmth of sun on their shoulders.

True, we don't spend much of our time lying on the grass surrounded by flower petals, but it does express the feeling of this cheery, two-tone mini-dress and leggings. This is the Flocon with cotton leggings by Filippe Matignon.

The Flocon can be worn as a top or daringly as a dress, as seen above. A navy blue band is across the breasts while the body of the piece is a Persian blue. The navy gathers in a knot with ties left to dangle to the waist.

New Trasparenze - Leggings Too!

It came to my attention that when I talked about the spring / summer line of Trasparenze last week, I didn't mention leggings. Today I'll correct that oversight.

To the right is an example of the Paige legging from the Trasparenze spring / summer line. Leggings are a hot trend right now as they can add informal adornment to any leg and, only extending to mid-calf, they are perfect paired with flats, heels or sandals for your day in the sun.

The Paige has a fishnet leg and the appearance of embroidery on the band at the calf. These are available in ivory (known as silk) and navy blue (known as oltremare).

New Kenan Kimono, Cami and More

In the tradition of supporting Canadian product lines, we have new Kenan NK iMode pieces now available. Their spring/summer 2011 line is awash in ivory, coral and cobalt.

To the right is the Marvelous deep back chemise paired with its matching belted kimono. Like traditional kimonos, this silken version sports judo sleeves with generous trim running the length of the robe and at the cuffs. The nature-inspired cobalt detailing on the kimono takes this look from simple luxury to luxurious beauty.

Next, on the left is the Kenan NK iMode Tremendous camisole and matching boxer short in cobalt blue. This design combines classic cami and boxer lines but adds generous, floral, lace bands on both the cami and the short.

The Tremendous is available in a long, flowing gown in addition to the cami and boxer short set. The Tremendous gown has full cups of tone-on-tone lace and provides some bust support. The long gown is available in a more subdued, porcelain blue.

Finally, we see the introduction of coral into the line with the Fabulous vintage long gown. Styled as a dress, you might just want to go from the bedroom straight to a relaxed garden party (perhaps with a cami underneath the sheer fabric). The print is flower-reminiscent, but abstract so you don't compete with the blooms at the party.

Flared details are seen around the neckline and zinnia lace provides additional bust detailing on the Fabulous.
